David L. Thomas - Senior Partner David is a finance specialist, corporate banker and director with over 30 years of experience in corporate finance, debt and equity funding, and structured finance across various industries. He has extensive knowledge in the commodities, agribusiness, manufacturing, mining, and energy sectors and is also active in working with founders in technology related start up companies including medtech and fintech. He has served as a director, chairman, and committee member with private companies, government statutory authorities and government policy advisory entities. David has formal training and significant experience in green and sustainable finance and is actively involved through Chartwell in building sustainable finance and capital structures for emerging companies and working with entrepreneurs and founders. In addition to his professional experience, David is skilled in corporate governance and currently serves as Senior Partner with Chartwell Group. |

Dr Sally E. Thomas - Partner
Sally is a highly experienced medical doctor, director and health-sector senior executive, skilled in governance, strategic foresight and medical futurism. With a focus on health sector leadership, risk management and international development programs, Sally’s passion is to improve the well-being of both people and our environment using strategic foresight and community engagement. A member of international and regional health sector boards, she provides critical strategic insights to business leaders by anticipating future trends, and is Chartwell’s expert on emerging technologies, clinical applications, and global perspectives. |
Julian V. Thomas – Partner
Julian is an analyst, director and company secretary with over ten years of experience in research, strategy and policy development. He is adept in assisting clients to manage complex issues and projects across environmental, economic, social and political systems, and has a particular interest in the intersection of natural resources, community interest and public policy, holding a range of positions across both government and private industry. A certified member of the Governance Institute of Australia, and holding a Bachelor of Laws, and with a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law (WA) and a Bachelor of Arts (Hon. 1st Class) in Political Science and International Relations, Julian works with Chartwell's collaborators across our areas of activity. |

Alexandra E. Thomas - Manager - Customers and Business
Alex is our Manager of Customers and Business, harnessing her communication, problem solving and organisational skills to enable Chartwell’s clients to grow their businesses to their full potential. She is passionate about building and maintaining strong client relationships, and has a unique ability to understand and support diverse individual and business needs. With over ten years of experience as an educator (Master of Teaching, UWA) specialising in Mathematics and Science, Alex has honed her expertise in data-driven decision-making, and has keen interests in the areas of sustainability, design, and staff training and development. |
